Non-Resident Fee: State of Colorado policy requires that non-residents must pay more than residents for CU Boulder credit. As such, Education Abroad program Fees for non-residents include an additional charge, currently set at $1800. The fee is subject to change and is used to suport CU Boulder Education Abroad. The fee does not apply to CU Boulder Global Intensives.

Items included in the Program Fee

Instructional costs, on-site orientation, housing, international health insurance, and administrative fee to CU Boulder Education Abroad.

Items included in the Estimated Costs

Round-trip travel to program site, meals, visa fees, passport fees, local transportation, books and personal expenses. NOTE: The cost estimates do not include personal travel.

Fee Exceptions

  • Students choosing options other than what is included in the base program fee (i.e. Special Courses, Academic Pathways, Supplemental Housing options, Catered Housing, etc.) will be billed by and payable to Arcadia for those additional charges.
  • Students enrolled in certain courses will be subject to a Special Course Fee: up to $400 per course. These additional course fees will be billed to you directly by ISI Perugia after onsite course registration.
  • Students enrolled in the following Academic Pathways will be subject to an additional fee: Scholars Program $1,000, Food Studies $1,000.
  • Students placed in the following housing options will be subject to a Supplemental Housing Fee: A single room with shared bath $600, A single room with private bath $900. A homestay option within walking distance of the school $1000.

If for any reason you withdraw before or during the course of the program, CU Boulder Education Abroad and Arcadia University must be notified in writing. You are responsible for the corresponding withdrawal fee based on the date of your withdrawal. Any fees paid directly to Arcadia University, such as housing deposits, optional add-ons, or additional fees, are not included in the withdrawal fee schedule and may or may not be refunded by Arcadia University.
