Non-Resident Fee: State of Colorado policy requires that non-residents must pay more than residents for CU Boulder credit. As such, Education Abroad program Fees for non-residents include an additional charge, currently set at $1800. The fee is subject to change and is used to suport CU Boulder Education Abroad. The fee does not apply to CU Boulder Global Intensives.

Fee Exceptions
- For students choosing any option other than what is included in CIEE's base program fee (i.e. Select & Select Plus Housing), you will be billed an additional fee paid directly to CIEE. By choosing other options there may be additional out-of-pocket expenses that are the responsibility of the student.
Withdrawal Schedule, Financial Responsibility, and Policy

If for any reason you withdraw before or during the course of the program, CU Boulder Education Abroad and CIEE must be notified in writing. You are responsible for the corresponding withdrawal fee based on the date of your withdrawal. Any fees paid directly to CIEE, such as housing upgrades, optional add-ons, or additional fees, are not included in the withdrawal fee schedule and may or may not be refunded by CIEE.
