COF: CU Boulder Education Abroad programs are not COF-eligible nor will the credit earned count toward the 145 lifetime credit limits.

Non-Resident Fee: State of Colorado policy requires that non-residents must pay more than residents for CU Boulder credit. As such, Education Abroad program Fees for non-residents include an additional charge, currently set at $1800. The fee is subject to change and is used to suport CU Boulder Education Abroad. The fee does not apply to CU Boulder Global Intensives.

Round-trip travel to program site, meals, local transportation, passport fees, housing damages (if applicable), books and personal expenses. NOTE: The program fee and cost estimates do not include vacation travel.

Fee Exceptions

  • EXCEPTIONS TO THE PROGRAM FEE OUTLINED ABOVE: Students choosing options other than what is included in the base program fee will be billed by and payable to ISA for those additional charges. By choosing other options there may be additional out-of-pocket expenses that are the responsibility of the student.
  • PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for an additional $95 deposit paid directly to ISA which is applied towards the program fee.

If for any reason you withdraw before or during the course of the program, CU Boulder Education Abroad and WorldStrides must be notified in writing. You are responsible for the corresponding withdrawal fee based on the date of your withdrawal. Any fees paid directly to WorldStrides, such as housing deposits, optional add-ons, or additional fees, are not included in the withdrawal fee schedule and may or may not be refunded by WorldStrides.
