Non-Resident Fee: State of Colorado policy requires that non-residents must pay more than residents for CU Boulder credit. As such, Education Abroad program Fees for non-residents include an additional charge, currently set at $1800. The fee is subject to change and is used to suport CU Boulder Education Abroad. The fee does not apply to CU Boulder Global Intensives.

Round-trip travel to program site, meals, housing deposit, books and personal expenses. NOTE: The cost estimates do not include personal travel. ATTENTION: The cost of living in D.C. will be the same as or greater than what you may be accustomed to in Denver.

Withdrawal Schedule, Financial Responsibility, and Policy

If for any reason you withdraw before or during the course of the program, CU Boulder Education Abroad and The Washington Center (TWC) must be notified in writing. You are responsible for the corresponding withdrawal fee based on the date of your withdrawal. Any fees paid directly to TWC, such as housing deposits, optional add-ons, or additional fees, are not included in the withdrawal fee schedule and may or may not be refunded by TWC.
